Just Go With The Flow And Discover Great Photos With 500px For iOS

April 3, 2013
The official iOS app of the professional-grade photo-sharing website 500px has just gotten a small but nonetheless noteworthy update. The latest update to 500px for iOS finally adds a Flow section to the app's iPad edition. A popular aspect of the 500px platform, Flow is a continuous stream — or "flow," as it were — of photos that your friends have liked, favorited, and commented on. It's long been available on 500px for iPhone and iPod touch, but it's only now that the feature has found its way to 500px for iPad. The latest update to 500px for iOS also adds a list of users that you follow and who follow you. In addition, it includes some speed and stability improvements. The new version of 500px for iOS is available now in the App Store for free. Originally released on iOS as an iPad-only app in October 2011, 500px was made universal and optimized for iPhone and iPod touch in November 2012. Last January, the app was pulled by Apple from the App Store for apparently "featuring pornographic images and material." The app was restored a week later, though, but not without carrying a mature rating and a "Report This Photo" option. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
