Professional Social Networking Just Got Better With LinkedIn 6.0 For iOS

April 18, 2013
The official iOS app of the popular professional social networking site LinkedIn has just been updated to version 6.0. Although it brings little beyond bug fixes for the app's iPad edition, LinkedIn 6.0 delivers a number of improvements for the app's iPhone edition:
Redesigned with you in mind! The new iPhone app makes it even easier to connect and grow your network, engage with professional content and gain insights right from the stream. The new intelligent navigation is personalized just for you based on how you use LinkedIn every day.
Specifically, LinkedIn for iPhone has gained the following enhancements through the app's 6.0 update.
  • New beautiful and simpler design
  • Now you can invite, follow, like, share and comment on content right from the updates stream
  • New personalized and customizable navigation for quicker access to your favorite features on LinkedIn
  • Ability to follow Influencers to get access to original insights and content
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, LinkedIn 6.0 is available now in the App Store for free. Just last week, LinkedIn acquired the popular news reading app Pulse for a reported $90 million. According to the team behind the app, Pulse will remain significantly unchanged for now. But in celebration of the acquisition, the app has gained a new feed dedicated to posts from LinkedIn's Influencers. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
