Slayin Fans Can Now Download The Game's Original 8-Bit Soundtrack

April 26, 2013
Fans of the popular universal app Slayin will be pleased to learn that the game's 8-bit soundtrack is available to download now. If you've not heard of Slayin, the $0.99 app provides users with an "endless action RPG," whereby players are charged with the task of slaying as many foes as possible before perishing. In our review published earlier this month, we pronounced the app to be "a fantastic arcade game" well worth its price tag. While the application features impressive retro graphics, a further selling point of Slayin is its catchy 8-bit soundtrack. Recently, composer Matt Creamer made the 24-track Slayin soundtrack available to download online, for a "name-your-own" price. This of course means that users can download the soundtrack for free, though most will want to compensate Creamer for his digital score. All of the tracks from Slayin's original soundtrack are available to stream at Bandcamp, where users also have the option of purchasing and downloading the music. For more information on Slayin, take a look at our review. Currently, the app is available to purchase for $0.99 in the App Store.
