Spotify For iOS Now Equipped With Ford Sync AppLink Integration

April 3, 2013
The official iOS app of Spotify has just been updated with a new feature that is sure to delight many Ford vehicle owners. Thanks to its latest update, Spotify for iOS now carries support for Ford SYNC AppLink. Already integrated with a few other popular music streaming apps, including Pandora and iHeartRadio for Auto, Ford SYNC AppLink lets drivers interact with supported mobile apps through voice control. Apps that work with Ford SYNC AppLink can be chosen using special steering wheel buttons. And now, apps that work with Ford SYNC AppLink include Spotify for iOS. To get started with Spotify's Ford SYNC AppLink integration, just log in to your Spotify Premium account and connect your device to SYNC AppLink. You can then enjoy easy voice-controlled access to your favorite music, playlists, and radio stations. For example, you can say "play starred" to access your favorite songs. Also, you can launch playlists sent by your friends just by saying "yes" to play. And speaking of your friends, the app's latest update now also lets you view your friends' top tracks. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Spotify is available in the App Store for free. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
