Listen To Great Radio Wherever You Go With iHeartRadio For Auto
January 9, 2013
Just a few days ago, Clear Channel updated its popular radio app iHeartRadio with a couple of new neat features. Now, the entertainment company, which boasts the largest reach of any radio or TV outlet in the U.S., has come out with another significant iHeartRadio development.
Actually, this latest development isn't exactly about iHeartRadio itself. Rather, it's focused on the release of another iHeartRadio app.
The new app is called iHeartRadio for Auto. As its name suggests, iHeartRadio for Auto is a separate version of iHeartRadio that's specially designed for use in automobiles.
Specifically, iHeartRadio Auto is designed for use in a Ford vehicle equipped with SYNC AppLink or in any vehicle equipped with a Clarion Next GATE or Pioneer AppRadio device.
Just connect the iHeartRadio for Auto app to any of these devices to basically enjoy the original iHeartRadio app itself through your car's infotainment system.
That means you get in-car access to more than 1,500 live broadcast and digital-only radio stations. You also get to create custom stations featuring music by your favorite artists and other similar artists.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 4.3 or later, iHeartRadio for Auto is available now in the App Store for free.
