Team Up With A Friend To Play The Mini-Games In Avengers Origins: Assemble!
April 30, 2013
Have you guys seen "Iron Man 3"? I have, and I recommend that you see it too, because it's a most enjoyable movie. The movie's title character is, of course, part of the Avengers. But have you ever wondered how the Avengers came to be, not according to last year's "Avengers" movie, but according to Stan "The Man" Lee? You — and your little Avenger — can find out by reading the Disney storybook app Avengers Origins: Assemble!
Released a year ago, Avenger Origins: Assemble recounts how, well, the Avengers were assembled. And the story within is narrated by Avengers creator Stan Lee himself.
Outside the story, Avengers Origins: Assemble also includes mini-games.

These mini-games, which were added to the app just a couple of weeks after its launch last year, challenge you to defeat Namor and the Atlanteans by playing as Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, or the Hulk. Note, though, that you can choose to fight as the Hulk only if you also have Avengers Origins: Hulk on your device.
And now, thanks to the app's Avengers Team-Up feature, you can now play the mini-games in two-player mode across any two iOS devices on the same local Wi-Fi network. Of course, you and your companion get to choose two Avengers to play as in this mode.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, Avengers Origins: Assemble is available in the App Store for $2.99.
Going back to "Iron Man 3," its official game, aptly called Iron Man 3 - The Official Game, is out now from Gameloft.
