Vine Launches Trending Hashtags

Vine, the up and coming video-sharing social network, has made it even easier for users to find interesting and fun content. Colin Kroll, co-founder and CTO, announced in a blog post that the Explore section of the app now features trending hashtags.
Since launching earlier this year, Kroll said that many creative videos using hashtags haven’t made it to the popular sections of the app. That makes it harder for users to find the posts.
And the new trending hashtags section is designed to change that. The section will feature the fastest-rising hashtags that have quickly become popular. They won’t necessarily be the hashtags with the most posts.
Just last week, Vine introduced the option to share videos from the service on Twitter, Facebook, and even embedded in a website. Users can choose from three different video sizes and a postcard or simple format.
The update also fixed a bug that caused the iPhone’s camera to freeze when starting a new recording.
Vine is designed for the iPhone/iPod touch and can be downloaded now in the App Store for free.
