Best Buy Paying More On iPhone Trade Ins This Saturday Only
May 31, 2013
Do you have an old iPhone laying around collecting dust? Really want the iPhone 5? Best Buy has a deal for you, according to CNET.
Tomorrow, June 1, the retailer is giving customers a $150 credit on a working iPhone 4/4S. This credit must be used to purchase an iPhone 5.
To qualify, customers must be eligible for a phone update, and activate an iPhone 5 on a two-year contract with AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon. This deal won’t be available online.
Best Buy recently dropped the price on the iPhone 5 by $50. This means that the 16GB model is free using the credit, while the 32GB model is $99. The credit drops the price of the 64GB model to $199.
These price drops are great for those looking for a new iPhone. Of course, they also suggest that Best Buy is clearing inventory ahead of the launch of Apple’s seventh-generation iPhone. The latest rumors suggest that Apple won’t release new iPhones until August or September. At that time, Cupertino may announce the so-called “iPhone 5S” as well as a budget phone.
