Quipio, the text-on-photo app commonly described as "Instagram for words," has just received its big 2.0 update. Released in the App Store just four months ago, Quipio lets you easily create and share photos with text overlays, called "quips," in a variety of styles. And now, Quipio lets you tell stories in quips. Quipio 2.0 introduces Stories, a new way for you to share and collaborate with others on a series of quips based on a theme. Quipio 2.0 also brings Instagram sharing, which was, oddly, previously missing in the app. Speaking of Instagram, Quipio now also lets you set the default quip size to square, which is perfect for sharing to Instagram and other photo-sharing apps. Quipio 2.0 also adds support for searching quips, adding descriptions to quips, and mentioning other users in comments. Furthermore, it brings a new Dream filter and a revised Allure filter, plus new designs, colors, and text adjustments Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later, Quipio 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free.
