Etsy For iOS Updated With New Features For Both Sellers And Shoppers
May 7, 2013
Etsy, the official iOS app of the popular e-commerce site of the same name dedicated to handmade and vintage stuff, has just received another major update.
This new update brings a number of improvements, some of benefit to sellers while some to shoppers.
For sellers, the update makes it easier for them to manage their shops on the go. That's on account of the app's newly added support for creating a new listing and editing item photos straight from an iPhone or iPod touch.
In addition, variations are now supported for orders made from the app.
As for shoppers, the update adds the ability to view favorite shops on iPad. It also adds the ability to unfavorite items that have already been sold.
Furthermore, it adds a new search filter for finding items that ship to a certain country. And finally, it adds a new design for profiles.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later, the new version of Etsy is available now in the App Store for free.
Etsy for iOS debuted in the App Store in November 2011 as an app optimized for iPhone and iPod touch only. A year later, it was updated with universal support and native iPad compability. The better to check out all of those great handmade and vintage items, of course.
