Kingdom Rush: Frontiers, the sequel to the popular tower defense game, will be heading to the App Store in less than two weeks. Developer Iron Hide Game Studio recently released a full teaser trailer for the title. Click here if you can’t see the video. As you can see, the new game looks to ramp up the fun and excitement found in the original title. Some of the highlights from the sequel include eight new special towers and fun new levels in deserts, caves, and even jungles. And along with nine new heroes, Kingdom Rush: Frontiers will feature more than 40 enemies, including giant scorpions and angry gorillas. For those Easter egg fanatics, the sequel will have more than 70 achievements, unlockable weapons, and even a black dragon that can set your enemies on fire. Arriving in the App Store on Thursday, June 6, Kingdom Rush: Frontiers will be a available for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. The price hasn’t been released yet. If you want to check out the original game, there are two different versions you can download. The iPhone/iPod version is $0.99 while Kingdom Rush HD, for the iPad and iPad mini, is $2.99. We really liked the original Kingdom Rush here at AppAdvice, and the sequel looks to be as fun as the original.
