In a recent interview with the CBS news program "60 Minutes," Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates gave an insight into his longterm relationship with the Apple co-founder and former chief executive officer, Steve Jobs.
While the full interview with Gates can be viewed online, All Things D has drawn our attention to a further report by "60 Minutes" in which Charlie Rose discusses Gates' comments on his relationship with Jobs.
For Apple fans, this five-minute video is certainly worth watching. In it, the Microsoft co-founder states that Jobs' "sense of design," his understanding of branding, and his "intuitive" knowledge of marketing were three skills that Gates himself could not match, and which contributed to Apple's success in developing and launching the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Gates also discusses the time he spent with Jobs during the Apple co-founder's final months.
