Pocket, formerly Read It Later, has just been updated to add some new features and offer improved Evernote sharing.
Probably the nicest new addition in version 4.5.2 is support for one of our favorite apps, Drafts.
And with the update, opening a Send to Friend notification will now display the shared item. The “Show App Badge Count" option has also been re-added. Errors with sharing to App.net have also been resolved.
As far as Evernote sharing, the update fixes a number of issues that appeared in previous versions, including the following mentioned in the notes:
- Fixed crashes when sharing to Evernote - Fixed issue where tags were not saving successfully in Evernote - Fixed issue where “Include Full Text" option was not honored - Fixed issue where inline links would not be preservedPocket is a universal app for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad/iPad mini. It can be downloaded in the App Store now for free. The app received its last major update a little more than a month ago. That version introduced a revamped Share menu and the Send to Friend feature that makes it even easier to share content. Users can even choose to receive an optional push notification whenever someone shares with them.
