Say The Same Thing To Win In This New Word Game From Alternative Rock Band OK Go

The alternative rock band OK Go are perhaps best known for their quirky music videos. But did you know that they also make quirky mobile game launch videos? Actually, they have made one quirky mobile game launch video, and it's for a game called Say the Same Thing, which they themselves created. Say the Same Thing is a turn-based game where you and your playing partner attempt to, well, say the same thing. Confused? Thankfully, we have the following launch video from OK Go to enlighten us on the basic mechanics of the game. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. So, you and your partner will each have to say a random word to begin a round of Say the Same Thing. Say, "cat" and "love." Then, you each try to say another word that's kind of in between those two words. Now, you might say "pet" because a cat is a kind of pet you love. And your partner might say "fish," because cats love to eat fish. Then, you try to to say another word that's in between those two new words. And with luck, you and your partner might come up with the same word and say the same thing: "goldfish." Unlike in most other turn-based games, you and your partner both win in Say the Same Thing. If you both say the same word at the same time, you win. If not, you just have to, as they say, rinse and repeat until you say the same thing. Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch, Say the Same Thing is available now in the App Store for free. Say the Same Thing employs an energy system that makes use of units of bananas. Practically everything you do in the game costs a certain number of bananas. If you're running low on bananas, you can wait for them to get replenished or you can just buy them in the in-game store, where you can also add yourself to a waitlist of players who want to play with an OK Go member.
