Swim Toward The 'Fishy' Finish Line In Chasing Yello Friends
May 18, 2013
A couple of weeks following the launch of Angry Birds Friends, another "Friends" title based on a popular iOS game has made its way to the App Store.
And it's none other than Chasing Yello Friends, the social follow-up to Chasing Yello.
To be sure, Chasing Yello is nowhere near as popular as Angry Birds. But it does boast over 10 million players, which are apparently enough to warrant an online multiplayer version of the game:
In this follow up to Chasing Yello, Mathilda has been unable to catch her favorite fish and now mocks and cheers for Yello as he races other fish on his journey towards freedom! If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Chasing Yello Friends is powered by Nextpeer, allowing you to engage in star-collecting and power-up-exhausting races against random players or your Facebook friends. What's more, these races let you see your opponents' "fishy" representations right on your screen, indicating whether you're behind or ahead of them. Chasing Yello Friends is also powered by Everyplay, enabling you to show off and share your winning gameplay with your friends. Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, Chasing Yello Friends is available now in the App Store for free. In her review of Chasing Yello here on AppAdvice, Lory concluded that the game is "lots of fun and a sure winner for fans of the endless runner genre, er … endless swimmer, that is." Well, the game has just become even more fun … with friends. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
