Take The Bull By The Horns And Play Zynga's Running With Friends
May 10, 2013
A couple of months after its soft launch in Canada, Zynga's Running with Friends has finally been released in the wild that is the worldwide App Store.
The seventh title in Zynga's aptly named With Friends series of games, Running with Friends is an endless running game with a turn-based twist.
Running with Friends offers the sort of behind-the-back gameplay pioneered by Temple Run. But now you get to play it in an asynchronous competition with your friends on Facebook or with other players on the Zynga network.
In the game, you must swipe vertically and horizontally on the screen to jump, duck, switch paths, and dodge charging bulls. Oh yeah, Running with Friends, by the way, is set at the famous Running of the Bulls festival in Pamplona, Spain.

Compatible with iDevices running iOS 5.0 or later, Running with Friends for iPhone and Running With Friends HD for iPad are available now in the App Store for free.
Running with Friends is created by Zynga in collaboration with Eat Sleep Play, the developer behind the popular Twisted Metal and God of War console game series.
According to Zynga, "Eat Sleep Play worked closely with Zynga's design and game teams on the overall vision as well as built a custom 3D engine and offered art and animation expertise that helped bring the game to life for a visually stunning, social experience."
