This Interesting iOS 7 Concept Brings A Stark Visual Change

May 10, 2013
Are you getting excited about iOS 7 yet? With WWDC 2013 just a month away, we’ve found yet another unique concept for Apple’s next-generation mobile operating system. Philip Joyce, art director with Simple Zesty, a digital agency in the U.K., has offered up his take on what iOS 7 should be. First up, take a look at this concept video. Click here if you can’t see it. As you can see, Joyce’s vision is a pretty significant visual change that tosses skeuomorphism out the window while taking off the gloss and sheen found in previous iOS versions. Probably the most interesting idea is the Widget Center that gives users a way to customize their home screen. What do you think about Joyce’s vision? I don’t know if I’m ready for such a Windows Phone look on iOS. Hopefully Jony Ive's "baby" will bring a fresh new feel without being too overwhelming for long-time users.
