Dictionary.com For iPad Updated With New Definitions And More

Dictionary.com Ad Free Dictionary & Thesaurus for iPad, the official premium iOS iPad app of Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com, has just been updated to version 3.0.
Last March, both the premium and free editions of Dictionary.com for iPhone were updated with, among other improvements, new content. This included 2,000 new definitions from the popular dictionary website.
Now, version 3.0 of Dictionary.com Ad Free Dictionary & Thesaurus for iPad has gained those new definitions as well. So, if you'd like to know the meaning of such terms as "mankini," "quantitative easing," and "prepone," the newly updated iPad app can now help you with that.
In addition, the app now includes a new rhyming dictionary with half a million rhymes and new daily slideshows with amazing word facts. The app has also been updated with a better and quicker interface with the ability to alphabetically scroll through the dictionary in landscape mode.
Dictionary.com Ad Free Dictionary & Thesaurus for iPad 3.0 is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $4.99 download. The app is compatible with iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
Dictionary.com Dictionary & Thesaurus for iPad, the ad-supported version of the app, is also available in the App Store for free. But it's yet to be updated with the aforementioned enhancements.
