Google's Field Trip App Updated With Quick Browsing And Automatic Translation

Google's Field Trip app has just been updated with a couple of improvements related to its handling of point-of-interest cards.
Field Trip is an always-on tour guide that runs in the background on your device and notifies you when you're close to something of interest. It can even read the information to you in case you have your wired or Bluetooth-connected headset on.
The app has recently received another update, and with it comes the ability to quickly browse through cards by continuing to swipe as you scroll down and reach the bottom of a card. Also included in the update is the ability to automatically translate cards that are not in your native language.
In addition, beginning with the new version of the app, you no longer need to log in to use Field Trip.
The new version of Field Trip is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
The app's previous update brought battery life improvements along with a snooze feature.
The snooze feature lets you snooze a field trip notification until the next morning by tapping the snooze option at the bottom of the card. What's more, if you're running low on battery, i.e., less than 30 percent, all notifications are automatically snoozed until the next morning to conserve battery.
