Reuters: Apple To Launch New iPhone Models With Bigger Screens, In Multiple Colors

Just a couple of days after Apple took to the WWDC 2013 stage to launch iOS 7 and iTunes Radio, among a few other new products and services, it appears that we're already making our return to the Apple rumor mill.
And taking us there is none other than Reuters, which has just come out with a report raising a couple of long-rumored possibilities concerning Apple's iPhone.
Citing various sources, the report claims that, in response to the growing popularity of Samsung's bigger-screen Galaxy "phablets," Apple is planning on launching iPhones with bigger screens, as well as cheaper iPhones that come in multiple colors:
Apple is looking at introducing at least two bigger iPhones next year - one with a 4.7-inch screen and one with a 5.7-inch screen - said the sources, including those in the supply chain in Asia. They said suppliers have been approached with plans for the larger screens, but noted it is still unclear whether Apple will actually launch its flagship product in the larger sizes.Reuters notes that Apple is preparing to launch two new models this year. One is the so-called iPhone 5S, which is rumored to feature fingerprint sensor technology. And the other is a cheaper version in plastic casing, which is expected to come in a range of five to six colors and go for as little as $99. Rumors of a low-cost iPhone available in multiple colors have been circulating for months now. Same goes for the prospect of a bigger-screen iPhone. But late last month at the D11 conference, Apple CEO Tim Cook pointed out that releasing an iPhone with a large screen would mean a tradeoff between size and display quality.
