Priced at $4.99, the point-and-click puzzler is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, and features support for Apple's own social gaming network, Game Center. Developer Bulkypix explains the premise behind Runaway in the app's release notes: "Brilliant science student Brian is getting ready to join the prestigious UC Berkeley, but his life is turned upside-down when he gets caught up in some business involving a stolen crucifix and the mafia." Features include:
  • A stunning, exceptional storyline
  • Overriding fun and eye-catching graphics
  • Close to 100 scenes to visit
  • Discover over 30 charismatic characters
  • Many exciting puzzles
  • A redesigned interface for iPhones and iPads
  • Languages included: English, French, German, Spanish and Italian
  • An innovative, user-friendly help system
  • Many charismatic characters
Potential users should be aware, however, that support for Runaway is limited to the iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, and iPhone 5; the iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, and iPad mini; and the fifth-generation iPod touch. According to the app's developer, Runaway isn't compatible with earlier iDevices. Below, we've included a number of screenshots taken from within Runaway, along with a trailer for the game. As mentioned, Runaway: A Road Adventure is currently available to download in the App Store for $4.99, and is optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q83P__N-HOk
