The 3-Inch Nomad Lightning Cable Is Now Available To Ship

June 20, 2013
If you’re looking for a very portable solution to charge and sync your Lightning-enabled devices, the 3-inch Nomad cable seems to be a great option. According to MacRumors, the company behind the cable has caught up to demand and is shipping its product to buyers on a daily basis. The product began as a Kickstarter project late last year and surpassed its funding goal by more than $10,000. Preorders for the general public opened up in April, but now you can purchase the cable and see it shipped immediately. With the included keychain adapter, it should be pretty easy to always keep a charging cable within reach. While the Nomad isn’t designed for every situation, I can see a number of scenarios where it would come in handy to help power up my iOS devices. The cable is also licensed by Apple under the Made for iPhone program. So at least you won’t have to worry getting a nag message while running the beta version of iOS 7. Here’s a quick video that shows the product in action. Click here if you can’t see the video. The cable will set you back $24.99 and can be ordered now from the product’s official website. Buyers in the United States will receive free domestic shipping.
