Dictionary.com For iPhone Gets New Interface, Rhyming Words Collection And More

Dictionary.com Dictionary & Thesaurus has just received an update that brings a new interface along with a few other notable enhancements. These changes apply to both the free ad-supported edition and the premium ad-free edition of the official iOS app of Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com.
First and foremost, Dictionary.com Dictionary & Thesaurus has been updated with a new design that abandons its outmoded and heavy-handed tab-based navigation in favor of a flatter and cleaner sidebar-assisted navigation scheme.
Notably, the app's new interface includes a new home screen that offers quick access to daily Dictionary.com and Thesaurus.com content, including Word of the Day and The Hot Word.
The latest update to the app also includes hundreds of new definitions, including those for words and phrases such as "photobomb," "attachment parenting," and "digital native."
In addition, it brings an enhanced translator with more than 30 languages and a new rhyming dictionary with more than 500,000 rhyming words available via a $1.99 in-app upgrade.
Dictionary.com Dictionary & Thesaurus and Dictionary.com Dictionary & Thesaurus Premium are available in the App Store for free and for $0.99, respectively. Both editions are optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later.
