Groupon's Breadcrumb POS Updated With Groupon Voucher Redemption Feature
July 24, 2013
Breadcrumb POS has just received its first major update.
Released last May (first prematurely, then officially), Breadcrump POS is the official point-of-sale app of Groupon. Essentially, it is a modified version of the original Breadcrump app. That app is the client app of the Breadcrumb hospitality point-of-sale system, which was acquired last year by Groupon.
As it happens, the first major update to Breadcrumb POS brings better integration with none other than Groupon.
Thanks to the update, you can now scan Groupon Vouchers using your iPad's camera in order to redeem them. In addition, you can now track the progress of your Groupon Deals with the newly updated app.
The new Breadcrumb POS update also comes with the following improvements:
The new version of Breadcrumb POS is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. Like Square Register and PayPal Here, Breadcrumb POS works in conjunction with a card reader. Currently, Groupon is offering a free card reader for every new signup, plus $5,000 in free processing.
