Grove, an Oregon-based accessory manufacturer well-known for its handmade and unique protection options for Apple products, has just introduced a Bamboo Back for the iPad and iPad mini.
As the name suggests, each piece is made of smooth, all-natural bamboo. During the manufacturing process, each back is hand sanded and finished with natural oils for a smooth feel.
A special 3M adhesive helps adhere the back to your iPad and doesn’t leave a permanent residue.

And to help add a unique touch of style, customers can choose from more than 50 special cutouts, including a peace sign, the famous Apple “Command” symbol, and even a mustache.
Grove’s unique product is also available for both the MacBook Air (11- and 13-inch) and MacBook Pro (13- and 15-inch). When used with a laptop, the chosen cutout illuminates just like the original Apple logo.
Each Bamboo Back costs $29 and can be ordered directly from Grove. Because of the handmade nature of each item, it will take two to seven days to ship to a customer.
If you’re looking for a option from the company to protect your iPhone 5, Grove recently unveiled its Skatecase.
Last year, I reviewed the company’s Skateback, and can attest firsthand to the high-quality accessories that Grove creates. And for just $29, I think the Bamboo Back is a great bargain.
