If you really want to protect your iPad mini at a reasonable price, take a look at New Trent’s Airbender Mini. The new case is shock and splash resistant and is highlighted by a rubberized exterior with plugs to cover all openings. The setup provides full-body iPad mini protection without making the tablet difficult to use. Along with a removable iPad mini case and integrated screen protector, the Airbender Mini comes with a built-in keyboard that connects via Bluetooth. The keyboard is attached with a durable aluminum arm that allows the case to rotate a full 360 degrees for either landscape or portrait viewing angles. While I’m still sticking with my favorite iPad mini case choice so far, the XTREME from G-Form, I’m interested to see more of the Airbender Mini in action. The combination of a rugged case and keyboard makes it a unique option. The Airbender Mini retails for just $39.95 and can be purchased on Amazon.com or directly through New Trent.
