PayPal Here For iPad Gains Various Improvements Through First Major Update
July 7, 2013
It's heeeere! Nope, fortunately, I'm not talking about a solitary poltergeist. I'm talking about the latest update to PayPal Here for iPad, which happens to be the app's first major update.
PayPal Here for iPad was released by PayPal last March, a year after the launch of the PayPal Here point-of-sale service itself and the PayPal Here iPhone app.
In May, PayPal Here for iPad received its first update. But that update brought no more than minor usability and stability improvements.
This time, as mentioned, the app has received its first major update. And this update brings the following enhancements on top of the usual bug fixes and performance optimizations:
The new version of PayPal Here for iPad is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. The original PayPal Here app optimized for iPhone and iPod touch also received a major update last month. That update brought support for adding customer information to each order and for swiping cards from the order entry screen without having to tap Charge first. It also improved the Sales History to show only completed orders and, of course, added bug fixes and performance optimizations. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
