Skobbler's ForeverMap 2 Now Features Online And Offline Travel Guides
July 12, 2013
ForeverMap 2 has just been consumed by wanderlust.
The popular OpenStreetMap-powered global map app from Skobbler has just received another major update. And the new update adds a new Travel Guide functionality to ForeverMap 2.
With this new functionality, you can take advantage of the app's free wiki travel guide integration that offers information about thousands of destinations around the world.
Just select the new Travel Guide option in the app's sidebar menu and search the app's database to get information about your preferred destinations. Alternatively, you can browse the most popular countries or regions to discover your next destination.
You're free to browse and read travel guides while you're connected to the Internet. But you can also choose to download travel guides that are most relevant to you. While traveling, you can't expect to always have a working Internet connection, so it's nice to be able to access your preferred travel guides offline.
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1 or later, the new version of ForeverMap 2 is available now in the App Store.
ForeverMap 2 is normally priced at $2.99, but it's currently available free of charge in celebration of its new significant update, which, by the way, also includes some map improvements and visual tweaks.
