You Now Have The Freedom To Use Your Hipstamatic Gear In Hipstamatic Oggl

Hipstamatic and its community-focused companion app, Hipstamatic Oggl, have both received new major updates today. Fittingly enough, considering that today is the Fourth of July, the updates in question are all about freedom … freedom to finally use your gear from the former in the latter, that is.
At long last, you can now export your gear, i.e., lenses and films, from Hipstamatic to Hipstamatic Oggl. If you already own a lens or film in Hipstamatic and wish to use it in Hipstamatic Oggl, you no longer have to repurchase it. Now, you just have to import it, along with your other lenses and films, from Hipstamatic.
To import your gear, you need to have both of the latest versions of Hipstamatic and Hipstamatic Oggl. Open Hipstamatic Oggl and tap the + button at the left side of the shooting screen. Tap "Get More Gear…," tap "Import," and tap "Import Camera Gear."
You will then be automatically taken to Hipstamatic and be prompted to enter your Apple ID password. After your gear has been gathered, you will be taken back to Hipstamatic Oggl to complete the importing process. Et voilà! All of your Hipstamatic lenses and films are now at your disposal within Hipstamatic Oggl.
The latest updates to Hipstamatic and Hipstamatic Oggl also bring some bug fixes and performance improvements.
The new Hipstamatic update also adds support for sharing photos to Hipstamatic Oggl. And the new Hipstamatic Oggl update also delivers localization for the following languages in addition to English: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Portuguese (Portugal) Dutch, Swedish, Russian, Malay, Indonesian, Korean, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), and Japanese.
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 5.0 or later, Hipstamatic is available in the App Store for $1.99. Hipstamatic Oggl, on the other hand, is available in the App Store for free, and is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
