Audi's New iOS App Uses Augmented Reality To Make Car Repairs Less Complex

One new iOS application developed by car-maker Audi aims to help novices perform car maintenance, and even complete simple repairs, using an iDevice and augmented reality (AR).
Before getting too excited, do note that the app - Audi eKurzinfo - is presently available in Germany only, and is compatible with the 2015 Audi A3. This car is set to reach the United States early next year, and as such an English language version of Audi's augmented reality app is expected to launch nearer the time.
Here's how Audi eKurzinfo works:

Sehr gut, right? More than 300 components can be identified using the A3-compatible application, meaning Audi owners - in Germany, at least - should never struggle to change the oil in their shiny cars ever again. We'll let you know once Audi eKurzinfo makes its way to the U.S. App Store.
