Cartoon Network App For iOS Updated With New Game And West Coast Live TV Feed
August 23, 2013
The official iOS app of Cartoon Network has just received update that introduces a new game and a new live TV feed.
Originally called Cartoon Network Video, Cartoon Network for iOS was updated a year ago with support for playing games in addition to watching videos.
On iPhone and iPod touch, you can simply flip between your device's two landscape orientations to switch between playing and watching. And on iPhone, you can just keep your device in portrait mode to watch and play at the same time. In this mode, the screen is split into two, with the upper half dedicated to videos and the lower half to games.
Since that update, the app has been receiving major updates that add new games. And this latest update is no exception, as it brings a new game based on the anything but regular animated show "Regular Show."
The new game is called Explode-O-Rama, and it challenges you to launch Rigby the raccoon high into the air and then trigger the explosives to put on the freshest fireworks show in town.
In addition to the new game, the update adds a West Coast feed to the Cartoon Network app. As a result, you can now choose between the East Coast and West Coast feeds when watching live TV in the app.
The new version of Cartoon Network for iOS is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
