Cydia Tweak: EasyIconEdit Allows You To Move Multiple Apps At Once

I’ve always wondered why Apple hasn’t implemented an easier way to rearrange apps. If you want to move apps to a different home screen page, you’ll have to drag them over one at a time. Fortunately, the jailbreak community understands these simple needs.
EasyIconEdit is a new Cydia tweak that allows you to select multiple apps on the home screen and move all of them at once. The idea is very simple, but the functionality can be a bit buggy. Check out our video overview below to see the tweak in action.

As demonstrated in the video, the tweak requires you to put your apps into wiggle mode, then tap each app to select it. Unfortunately, sometimes that tap doesn’t register. I’ve noticed that this tweak requires a very quick and consistent tap to select multiple apps. Once you've selected apps that you'd like to move, swipe over to a desired page and tap each icon again. The apps will snap to the home screen grid and you'll be able to press the home button to get out of wiggle mode. Hopefully the developer will update this tweak and fix the tap bug in the future. Aside from that minor inconvenience, EasyIconEdit works exactly as you’d expect. It may seem like a small feature, but I can’t begin to count the number of times I’ve had to move multiple apps to a different home screen page. In case you can’t handle the “quick tap” bug, there’s another tweak that provides this exact functionality called MultiIconMover. If you’d like to give EasyIconEdit a chance, it’s available in the BigBoss repository for free.
