Inspire Pro Updated With Canvas Rotation, Improved Sharing And More
August 16, 2013
Inspire Pro, the popular painting app that's included in AppAdvice's Drawing With Your iPad AppGuide, has just drawn another major update.
Most notably, the latest update to Inspire Pro introduces canvas control. As a result, the canvas can now be rotated at any angle while painting using a simple two-finger rotate gesture. In line with this, a new indicator appears below the zoom bar to indicate the angle at which the canvas is currently rotated.
If you're not so keen to use this new feature, though, you can easily toggle it on and off in the app's options menu.
Speaking of the options menu, it has been revamped with this new update. Specifically, it has been split into four categories instead of being one long scrolling list. The four categories are Painting Offset, Hotspots, Gestures, and Pressure Sensitive Styli.
The update also adds the ability to customize the text when uploading artwork on Facebook, Twitter, or Flickr. The amount of characters remaining, in accordance with the limit set by each social network, is now displayed as well.
Also including bug fixes and miscellaneous improvements, the new version of Inspire Pro is available now in the App Store as a free update or as a new $4.99 download. The app is compatible with iPad running iOS 5.0 or later.
The app's previous major update arrived three months ago with new brushes and pressure-sensitive stylus support, among many other improvements.
