It’s About Time: Plants Vs. Zombies 2 Will Hit The App Store Tomorrow

Finally! According to a post on the App Store’s Facebook page, the much-anticipated Plants vs. Zombies 2 will be available to download tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 15.
While the post didn’t exactly mention the title, the teaser picture makes it very obvious that the sequel will finally be unveiled worldwide.
It’s been a long and winding road for the title. First announced in 2012, PopCap originally pegged the game’s release sometime in the spring. Then, the release date was moved to July 18.
But in late June, PopCap announced another delay, saying only it would arrive "later in the summer." The title was soft launched in the Australia and New Zealand App Stores in early July.
To tide you over until tomorrow, here's a quick trailer. Click here if you can't see it.
Here’s a quick description as well:
Designed from the ground up as a live service, the ever-expanding universe of Plants vs. Zombies 2 continues the epic struggle of plants defending your brainz against zombies from your backyard through the vast reaches of time, both past and future. New worlds with new levels, plants, zombies and new ways to play will be released on an ongoing basis. Leveraging the touch interface of Apple’s popular mobile devices, Plants vs. Zombies 2 includes all-new touch-screen power-ups that enable players to “break the fourth wall” and interact with zombies directly, as well as via plant defenses.I’m quite excited that the sequel is finally coming. My weekend plans are set.
