The Boomerang, A Unique iPad Stand And Mounting System, Is Now Shipping

An interesting iPad stand and mounting system, the Boomerang, is now available to order directly through Bite My Apple.
The project originally began on Kickstarter late last year, and easily surpassed its funding goal with more than $50,000 in pledges.
Thanks to a magnetic interface on the back of the X-shaped frame, the Boomerang snaps onto the back of an iPad and can be adjusted into three different viewing angles. It does work with Apple’s Smart Cover.
An included multi-purpose mount can serve as either a wall mount or magnetic mount that is capable of attaching to many metallic surfaces with up to 10 pounds of pull force.
Compatible with the iPad 2 and up, the Boomerang can be ordered now from Bite My Apple’s site for $79.99.
For $89 more, you can purchase a table stand that is compatible with the Boomerang. The high-grade aluminum mounting accessory allows users to view videos or turn a tablet into a second monitor for work.
