Update: The Launch Of Apple’s iOS 7 Beta 7 Is Coming
August 19, 2013
See update below.
It is likely to become a busy Monday later today when Apple launches the seventh iOS 7 beta to developers. According to BGR, the latest release has already been seeded and will launch at 1 p.m. EDT.
Last Thursday, Apple unexpectedly launched iOS 7 beta 6. That release, which weighed in at just 13.5MB, was basically an iCloud bug fix. The seventh beta should be more substantial.
As BGR notes, “We can confirm the build number is much higher than the previous beta.”
The upcoming beta should be the final one released to developers. In the coming weeks, a final gold master (GM) version should arrive, followed by the first public release of iOS 7 around Sept. 10.
We’ll let you know the moment that iOS 7 beta 7 is released.
