Welcome The Amazing Archaeopteryx To Your Village In Ice Age Village 2.0

August 6, 2013
Ice Age Village has just been updated to version 2.0. The popular — that is to say, "cool" — freemium city-building game developed by Gameloft welcomes the amazing Archaeopteryx through its 2.0 update:
Ever heard of an Archaeopteryx? It's a bird that's evolved halfway between feathered dinosaurs and modern birds. And good news: You can get 4 types of Archaeopteryx (Blue, Green, Yellow and Orange) to populate your village in this new update! So get ready to complete new quests to get them all!
Ice Age Village 2.0 also offers more limited-time items and gives you more chances at quickly collecting your village's coins in Collect Frenzy. In addition, the game now lets you visit the villages of Manny, Diego, Sid, and the rest of the "Ice Age" herd. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. Ice Age Village 2.0 is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. Released in April last year, Ice Age Village is the official mobile game of "Ice Age: Continental Drift," the fourth film in the "Ice Age" franchise. In Ice Age Village, Scrat's hunt for his favorite acorn has opened a crack in the Earth's crust, sending the animals scurrying for safety. Now, it's your job to help Manny, Diego, and Sid in building a new village for their displaced friends. For other news about iOS simulation games based on popular franchises, check out Hi Ho!
