Zombiewood has just received an update that delivers a number of new game elements aimed at making your shooting spree amid a zombie-infested Hollywood an even bigger blockbuster than it already is. Released by Gameloft in October last year, Zombiewood is a top-down dual-stick shooter that challenges you to shoot hordes and hordes of zombies while shooting footage after footage of the ultimate zombie apocalypse film. And to make your experience even more cinematic, the following items have just been added to Zombiewood through its latest update:

The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. The game's previous major update, which arrived early last June, introduced multiplayer support so you wouldn't have to mow down zombies by your lonesome. Zombiewood's multiplayer mode works in real time and enables you to team up with three of your friends in order to survive the zombie invasion. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
- New Consumables: Turrets can now be placed to form a protective defense against the Zombie horde. More Pew Pew for everyone!
- New Weapons to destroy Zombies with, including The GoodBye (Crossbow) and Lola (5-barrel Shotgun).
