Brits Get Passbook Support In Updated Marks And Spencer iPhone App

September 18, 2013
The British retailer Marks and Spencer updated its M&S iPhone app recently, adding Passbook support for personalized in-store and online offers, along with a number of further features. It's been a long time coming, but Passbook - first launched almost one year ago - has finally been added to M&S. As a reminder, the free application, which is optimized for the iPhone and iPod touch, allows iDevice users to search, browse, and buy Marks and Spencer products while on the go. Further changes to appear in the application include:
  • ‘Narrow By’ filters – to get to the products you want quicker
  • 1-click mobile ordering to make it faster to checkout
  • Product recommendations to find more of what you love
  • Feedback page to let us know what you think about the app
  • See products on one page instead of clicking through lots of pages
  • A voice reader for customers who are visually impaired
  • And lots more …
Here's hoping the application has also received iOS 7 support, too. Apple's iOS 7 is set to be released later today, and as such a number of apps have received updates which ensure compatibility with the forthcoming mobile operating system. M&S can be downloaded in the App Store free of charge, and is optimized for the iPhone and iPod touch.
