September 30, 2013
The epic combat strategy game Clash of Clans has just mustered another troop of improvements with its latest major update.
First and foremost, the new update introduces a new village edit mode:
And with a full month to go before Halloween, the update already brings a number of spooky tricks and sugary treats, including longer and cheaper (at just a gem) Spell Factory boosting. As well, it delivers a couple of clan improvements:
- Clear the clutter! Pick up all buildings and walls at once and design your village from a clean slate
- Quick and precise building placement by dragging from inventory
- Place many walls at once by selecting a wall piece, then dragging along the wall guide markers
- Edit Mode is unlocked after you reach Town Hall level 4
Also including various fixes, the new version of Clash of Clans is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 4.3 or later. With this update, Clash of Clans now also fully supports iOS 7.
