That didn't take long. Just a couple of hours after online orders for Apple's iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c launched in the Apple Online Store, the gold model is now shipping in "October," according to Apple.
As such, it would appear that the gold iPhone 5s is the most popular out of the three. Either that, or Apple didn't have as many gold handsets available. Regardless, iDevice users looking to purchase a gold iPhone 5s in the Apple Online Store are now going to have to wait some time, or leave the comfort of their home for the long lines already forming outside of Apple Retail Stores, carrier stores, and retailers across the United States.
Most retail locations are opening their doors at 8 a.m. local time. However, with iPhone 5s supply said to be "constrained," prospective customers are going to want to get in line fast in order to improve their chances of grabbing a seventh-generation handset today.
Apple's iPhone 5c, however, is still shipping in one to three business days. No surprise there.
