LEGO has a brand new racing application in the App Store. Called LEGO Pullback Racers, the game brings pullback racer cars to life, allowing iDevice owners to race, crash, and upgrade pullback LEGO cars using an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Once downloaded and installed, gamers start off with a basic pullback racer. As its name suggests, these cars must be "pulled back" in order to be launched (as in the real world), and this can be achieved using an iDevice's touch screen. Multiple launches are likely to be necessary in order to get through an entire circuit, as the basic vehicle first available in LEGO's app isn't great.
However, after collecting coins en route, users will be able to upgrade and purchase additional cars, which enhance the gaming experience by allowing iDevice owners to travel faster and further.
As LEGO explains in the app's release notes:
Graphically, LEGO Pullback Racers looks great regardless of whether it's running on a small or big screen, and its simple yet addictive gameplay renders it an iOS application that both adults and children will enjoy. As mentioned, LEGO Pullback Racers is available to download in the App Store free of charge, and it's optimized for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
