Path 3.2 Goes Live Featuring Premium Subscription Tier, Private Sharing And More

September 17, 2013
Announced earlier this month, version 3.2 of the popular "personal" social networking app Path has finally been released in the App Store. Most notably, Path 3.2 sees the introduction of Path Premium, a subscription-based tier that offers a number of perks. Initially, these include unlimited free sticker packs, unlimited free camera filters, and early access to new items in Path's in-app shop. Path Premium is available for purchase as a quarterly subscription for $4.99 or as an annual subscription for $14.99. The new version of Path also introduces private sharing, which gives you complete control over who sees each of your posts. With private sharing, you can capture a moment and keep it only to yourself or select friends to share it with. Related to this is another new feature called Inner Circle. With this, you can:
  • Pick a smaller group of friends to share Inner Circle moments with.
  • Easily share any moment with your Inner Circle.
  • Filter your feed to only see moments from your Inner Circle.
  • Change your settings to only receive notifications from your Inner Circle.
Path 3.2 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.0 or later. The newly updated app also enables you to manage your friends more easily as it now shows the friends list in the left menu and message in the right menu. In addition, it includes new sticker packs, namely, In Transit, Baby Talk, Everyday Hero, and Mr. Viking. Note that Path hasn't been updated to match the look and feel of iOS 7. But as shown in one of Apple's keynote slides during the recently concluded iPhone media event, Path is one of the high-profile apps that are set to get redesigned for iOS 7.
