The clock has struck midnight, it's now Friday, Sept. 13, and Apple's iPhone 5c is officially available to preorder in the Apple Online Store, along with a number of major carriers and retailers.
In this article, we have all the details on iPhone 5c preordering, so read on.
Apple Online Store
First, the Apple Online Store provides iDevice users with a one-stop location for iPhone 5c preordering in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, and China.
In the United States, handsets can be preordered for either $99 (16GB) or $199 (32GB) with a two-year contract.
It's also possible to trade old iDevices in with Apple in order to receive a Gift Card towards your iPhone 5c preorder. More than $300 is being offered for good-quality iPhone 5 handsets, and additional information can be found at Apple's Reuse and Recycling Program Web page.
AT&T
AT&T has had a landing page for its iPhone 5c preorders live for some time, which has been counting down to midnight PDT.
Though the above Web page doesn't give much away, the carrier has confirmed the pricing for its 2013-2014 iPhone offerings. Here are the details:
Now, however, the Web page offers iPhone 5c preorders for iDevice users. To preorder an iPhone 5c with AT&T, click this link.
Verizon
Verizon, too, is offering the iPhone 5c on-contract for $99 (16GB) and $199 (32GB), and customers can also purchase the handset for $0 through VZ Edge. For 16GB iPhone 5c, Edge monthly payments are $23.06, while the 32GB handset will set Edge customers back $27.5 per month.

Sprint
It's also possible to preorder with Sprint, too, however as of this writing the carrier's iPhone 5c Web page appears to be experiencing difficulties.
T-Mobile
As part of its successful "uncarrier" campaign, T-Mobile has announced that it'll be offering the iPhone 5c for $0 down.
This means that the price of Apple’s entry-level iPhone 5c will be repaid through 24 monthly installments of $22, and the handset will be available to preorder with the carrier.
Preorders are now live at T-Mobile's website.
Walmart
As detailed in our previous article, Walmart, too, has announced that it'll be accepting iPhone 5c preorders. Further, Walmart is offering the entry-level iPhone 5c at just $79, which is a $20 saving compared with Apple's pricing.
However, because Apple usually price matches its products, it could be worth waiting in line come Friday, Sept. 20, if you have no luck securing a $79 iPhone 5c handset with Walmart.
Furthermore, preordering through Walmart is only available in-store. The handsets will be available to pick up on Sept. 20.
RadioShack
RadioShack is another U.S. retailer that will be accepting iPhone 5c preorders from today, however information on pricing has not been confirmed.
Like Walmart, preorders must be made in-store.
Our advice?
As you can see, Walmart appears to be offering the iPhone 5c for the lowest cost, and as such it may be worth bypassing the Apple Online Store for the retailer in order to grab a $20 saving.
It might not sound like much, but $20 could go towards one of Apple's colorful iPhone 5c cases, or it could of course be spent in the App Store.
We'll be updating this article as further information on iPhone 5c preorders becomes available.
