Welcome back to our weekly look at the latest and greatest iOS device accessories. It’s time for the new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. With exactly one week until both handsets are officially on sale, here’s a quick roundup of some new case choices. We’ll be back next week with a look at even more.
One of my favorite case makers, Griffin, is offering nice selections for both handsets. Along with announcing that the Survivor, Survivor Clear, Suvivor Slim, and Survivor Skin will soon be available for the iPhone 5c, here are two other case options.
Separates: An entirely new line designed for both the iPhone 5s/5, the Separates fashion collection is highlighted by its fun and colorful patterns. Made with a polycarbonate backplate and a color-keyed frame for protection at the edges and corners, all backs and frames are interchangeable. Available in a wide variety of designs, the pictured case is $29.99 and can be ordered now.
Reveal: Coming soon for the iPhone 5c, the Reveal is a great slim protection option for the handset. Adding just a millimeter of thickness, the one-piece design is highlighted by a translucent back shell that shows off the colorful handset. It retails for $19.99 and is coming soon.
Moshi
Moshi is going all out, offering a number of cases that should appeal to everyone who purchases Apple’s flagship handset or the colorful iPhone 5c. iGlaze Armour: The pictured $40 aluminum case for the iPhone 5s/5 features a diamond-cut back panel and maintains the two-toned iPhone look. Available now, buyers can select from black, bronze, and silver. iGlaze Kamelon: The hard shell case is highlighted by its aluminum kickstand made with piano wire for vertical or horizontal use. It costs $50 and is available in white with textured vegan leather or black with a synthetic fabric exterior. The case can be ordered now. Overture: This wallet case for the iPhone 5s/5 has one cash and three credit card slots. The included microfiber cleaning cloth attaches directly to the case. Retailing for $45, it is available in gray felt, black synthetic fabric, and red vegan leather. The Overture can be ordered now. Concerti: Available in black or red, the Concerti is lined with Moshi’s proprietary microfiber and is equipped with a detachable cleaning cloth. It costs $40 and can be ordered now. iGlaze Remix: Available in October for the iPhone 5c, the iGlaze Remix is highlighted by a pliable design with a hard coating to preserve the case’s glossy exterior. Constructed to provide the look of a hard case and the feeling of a soft case, the Remix should also be able to easily fend off pocket lint. Selling for $30, the case will be available in black, white, blue, red, and pink.Griffin Technology
