Assemble Your Heroes For The Upcoming Global Release Of Marvel Run Jump Smash!

October 15, 2013
If Marvel had its own way, it would have probably called its upcoming global mobile game release Marvel Assemble Run Gun Jump Smash Fly!. But as it stands, the game is more simply called Marvel Run Jump Smash!. Announced by Marvel over the weekend at the New York Comic Con, Marvel Run Jump Smash! has been set to be globally released after already becoming a hit in Korea. The game is a Marvel-themed runner featuring iconic Marvel locations and, of course, Marvel heroes, who are rendered in a cartoony, bigheaded art style. In the game, you get to assemble your own team of heroes and play to their strengths. If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. As shown in the game's trailer above, you can run and jump as Captain America, smash as the Incredible Hulk, fly as Iron Man, and even run and gun as Black Widow. You can also play as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Nick Fury and Maria Hill. Marvel Run Jump Smash! is set to be released this fall on popular mobile platforms, including, of course, iOS. No word yet on whether it's going to be free-to-play, although that may very well be the case, considering that the game appears to have not one, but two forms of in-game currencies. Also headed to iOS this fall, as early as Oct. 25, is another comic-based game in the form of Batman: Arkham Origins. Announced by developer NetherRealm Studios at New York Comic Con, the free-to-play brawler will have you playing as a younger and less refined Batman and fighting a group of assassins.
