Delicious Official App For iPhone And iPod touch Gets Redesigned For iOS 7
October 10, 2013
Delicious Official App has just been updated for iOS 7.
Released in December last year, Delicious Official App is the official iOS app of the popular social bookmarking Web service Delicious.
"Delicious is the place to collect and showcase your passions from across the Web," notes the app's sole block of description in the App Store. "Save what you like - videos, pictures, tweets, blog posts, or articles - on topics you enjoy and search through others’ collections of links to discover cool stuff!"
Optimized for iPhone and iPod touch, Delicious Official App has just been, as mentioned, updated for iOS 7. As a result, the app now sports a redesigned user interface that's noticeably simpler, cleaner, and, of course, flatter.
The latest update to Delicious Official App also brings support for auto-completing keywords, in addition to @usernames and #tags, in the search bar.
Furthermore, it lets you discover links from your Twitter timeline.
Also including some bug fixes, the new version of Delicious Official App is available now in the App Store for free. The app is optimized for iPhone and iPod touch running iOS 6.0 or later.
Delicious Official App for iPad is also available in the App Store for free. But it's yet to be updated with a redesigned interface.
Delicious Official App is developed by AVOS, which acquired Delicious from Yahoo and relaunched the service in 2011. Helmed by YouTube cofounders Chad Hurley and Steve Chen, AVOS is also behind the Vine-like video-sharing app MixBit, which received its first major update last week.
