Evernote 7.1 Adds New Places Feature, Saved Search Improvements And More

October 22, 2013
The official iOS app of Evernote has just been updated to version 7.1. On the day of the official launch of iOS 7, the Evernote app was updated to version 7.0 with a new iOS 7-inspired interface plus a number of new features. Now, the app has been updated to version 7.1 with several follow-up enhancements. Perhaps the most notable of these enhancements is the new Places feature. To access this feature, just tap the Places option in the app's home screen. The app then shows a visualization of your notes on a map based on their respective geotags. It also lists all of the places associated with your notes and lets you search for a particular place. Speaking of search, the latest update to Evernote also includes a couple of Saved Search improvements. One, you can now create new Saved Searches from the search results screen. And two, you can now remove a Saved Search by swiping left. Evernote 7.1 also adds a new Premium feature that allows you to customize the layout of the app's home screen. Also including various bug fixes and performance optimizations, Evernote 7.1 is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 7.0 or later. A week after the release of its 7.0 update, Evernote was updated to version 7.0.1 with the integration of the Post-it Note camera and the introduction of the Evernote Market. The Post-it Note camera lets you snap a photo of a Post-it Note to digitize it on your Evernote account. And the Evernote Market lets you shop for technology and lifestyle products made by Evernote in partnership with different creative companies and designers. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
