FiftyThree Partners With Moleskine To Turn Your Paper iPad App Journals Into Books

October 1, 2013
Paper by FiftyThree, the innovative drawing app hailed by Apple as its iPad App of the Year for 2012, has just been updated with a superb new feature called, quite simply, Book. With Book, you can create a real, tangible book containing your virtual, intangible creations in Paper. And the resulting book is made by none other than Moleskine, the obvious inspiration behind Paper, with which FiftyThree has partnered in order to …
Bring your ideas to life with a beautiful, custom-crafted Book, created right from within Paper. FiftyThree and Moleskine, makers of the legendary notebook, bring you a new format designed uniquely for Paper: a 15-page foldout of your sketches on FSC-certified sustainable paper, with a custom or classic black cover. Book is the simplest and most beautiful way to share your ideas with others.
If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. To make a Book, just tap the new "Print a Book" option in the sharing menu for the Paper journal you'd like to print. Tap "Print a Book" again on the introductory box that appears. You'll then be prompted to choose a color for the back cover and spine, select up to 15 pages, and specify a quantity to order. Each Book, by the way, costs $40. Also including "bug fixes for happier, healthier creation," the new Books-ready version of Paper by FiftyThree is available now in the App Store for free. The app is compatible with iPad running iOS 6.0 or later. The newly updated app also features a new Presentation Mode that hides the tool tray and menus when you connect it to a second display.
