Let's Get The Piñata Party Started In Plants Vs. Zombies 2
October 24, 2013
Shortly after its worldwide release on Android, Plants vs. Zombies 2 has received its first major content update on iOS.
Most notably, the latest update to the sequel to the popular Plants vs. Zombies lane defense game introduces a new mini-game called Piñata Party:
The amazing Piñata Party mini-game is here. In Piñata Party you get to battle zombies from all worlds in a special modern day front yard level for big prizes. You’ll have to plant fast though – the Piñata Parties are only available for 24 hours at a time. Successfully beat three consecutive parties and you can win a mind-blowing mega prize by whacking open the massive Señor Piñata! If you can't see the video embedded above, please click here. In addition, the update brings a couple of gameplay improvements. First, Plants vs. Zombies 2 now lets you skip the map and easily move from level to level, thereby speeding up the level progression. And second, twisting a few more dials in Penny's dashboard keeps your peas shooting straight into the zombies. The new version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 is available now in the App Store for free. The game is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad running iOS 5.1 or later. First announced by PopCap in 2012, Plants vs. Zombies 2 was officially released on iOS last August, topping 25 million downloads in just a couple of weeks. Shortly after its launch, it was hailed by us here on AppAdvice as our Game of the Week. For more information on the game, check out our original review. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
